US networking application major Novell on Thursday announced that it is buying out its Indian partners in its Indian JV. Novell is one of the few US IT majors, which has been running its Indian operations as a JV with Indian partners. Companies like IBM and HP, which also had JV partners with Indian companies like the Tatas and HCL group, respectively, subsequently bought their Indian partners out. Novells Indian joint venture is called Onward Novell and IT entrepreneur Harish Mehta holds a 50% stake in the company. |
