Engineering major Larsen and Toubro has signed a memorandum of understanding to set up a switchgear-manufacturing unit in China. The proposed facility is to be located in Wuxi New District, an industrial park in the Jiangsu province of China, where it will manufacture high-end air circuit breakers. It will spread over 30,000 sq.mtrs and be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for manufacturing and testing. |
