Goodlass Nerolac Paints Limited (GNPL) received the Golden Peacock Environment Management Award (GPEMA) for its Jainpur plant (Kanpur) in a scintillating ceremony in 7th World Congress on Environment Management held at Palampur (Himachal Pradesh) from 10 to 12 June 2005.
GPEMA is designed to encourage and recognise effective execution of environment management system, and constant development. The award is prestigious and emphasizes on preserve ecological balance by minimising adverse environmental impact, while carrying out industrial and business activities.
