Tata Motors has launched the CRDi version of its Safari SUV. According to industry sources, the CRDi diesel engine is of 3000 cc, and Tata has partnered with Delphi for the development of the engine. With this, the sources said, Tata has made changes to the vehicle in areas like styling, ride and handling to take care of the extra power that the CRDi unit churns out.
