Arvind Mathew is set to take over as the managing director and president of Ford India. He will succeed David Friedman, who will be taking up another executive position in Ford in the Asia-Pacific region shortly. Mathew was previously vice-president for manufacturing and supply at Ford India and was instrumental in the development of new vehicle and power train programmes for India. The vice president of marketing, sales and service and external affairs at Ford India, Vinay Piparsaria, is said to be in the process of moving over to be part of Fords operations in Thailand.
