Atlas Copco, the world leader in compressed air technology, has launched Little Master, its GX rotary screw compressors in the range of 3-15 HP. The compressors currently available in India in the smaller capacity range are based on the sunset piston technology. This means high noise, dullard looks, high power consumption and heavy maintenance costs. Today, when the small industry in the country is aspiring for global quality and competitiveness, it needs the cutting edge of world-class technologies. Realising this, Atlas Copco has launched Little Master, to bring the benefits of screw technology to the small industry.
The new compressor has less moving parts and minimal wear and tear. Service points are grouped together and are easily accessible, making it maintenance-friendly. Rotary screw technology enables 100 per cent continuous duty operation without any capacity drop. This means high productivity. Besides minimising vibration, sound-absorbing enclosure also reduces sound levels, thus ensuring silent operation and enabling the compressor to be placed at the point of application.
