Indo Asian Fusegear Ltds new plant for compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) has become operational. The plant, set up with an investment of Rs. 10 crore in Noida, will enable the company produce special CFLs, which are shorter in length and power saving compared to the ones being manufactured now. V P Mahendru, chairman - managing director, said, "With the installation of this plant, Indo Asian Fusegears CFL plant capacity will not only be quantitatively upgraded to produce world-class, environment-friendly lamps, it is also under substantial expansion to produce W million CFLs annually, making us the largest CPL manufacturing company in India." |
