Tecpro Systems Pvt Ltd, manufacturer of conveyor belts and industrial equipment has tied up with KOCH, Germany, for technical know-how, to manufacture pipe conveyor belts. Aiming for a major share of the Rs 200-crore pipe conveyor belt market in India, Tecpro has already started work on a large project in Orissa. The demand for pipe conveyor belts in India is expected to go up in the future. Teepro, has offices in Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Kolkata, with a new Rs 10-crore manufacturing facility coming up at Bawal, Haryana. Operations at the companys existing factory at Najafgarh, Delhi, will be phased out over 4-5 years and shifted to its new facility. KOCH, a global leader in the pipe conveyor market, has installed 180 pipe conveyor systems in 25 countries, and commands a global market share of 78 per cent. |
