During recent Shanghaitex textile machinery exhibition, Staubli could announce and celebrate the delivery of the 200h automatic drawing-in system DELTA 100/110. Machines of this product family have first been shown in 1997 at the OTEMAS textile machinery exhibition in Japan and were released to market right after. In 1999, the DELTA 110 with enhanced features was unveiled at the ITMA in Paris. From then on, the deliveries of the DELTA 100/110 were permanently growing every year as an increasing number of weaving mills all over the world became equipped with automatic drawing-in machines.
The 200th machine that was shown at the Shanghaitex exhibition is going to be installed at Tianjin Textile Group in China, a manufacturer of shirting fabrics. Tianjin has a wide range of fabric patterns and will certainly benefit from the high drawing-in capacity of the DELTA 110 because of their need to frequently draw-in new styles. It will be Tianjins second DELTA, and Staubli is convinced this one will serve as good as the first one.
