Loading textile testing equipment manufacturer James H Heal & Co Ltd has been making further investments in their production facilities at their headquarters in Halifax, England.
Over the past 12 months, HEALS has invested in a range of equipment across the business. In the Quality Assured Consumables Centre, a new loom for producing Multifibre has been acquired to meet growing demand, along with a warping machine. In the production department last year, HEALS made it single largest investment to date in an LVD Press Brake, which has revolutionized the way that sheet metal is processed.
This year HEALS has made further investments in their sheet metal processing with the advent of a new Tool room Mill and Turning Centre earlier this month. The new instruments will allow HEALS to bring more component production in-house and will allow both a greater volume and a greater range of parts to be made. There will also be benefits in terms of delivery times, quality management and the ability to produce rapid prototypes. Three additional jobs have been created over the past 12 months as a result of the investments.
