Indo Schottle, which manufactures automotive components, has opened its second unit in pune. Indo Schottle has an annuled installed capacity to manufacture 150 million engine valve collets, 40 million rocker arm screws , and 6 million parts and assemblies for turbo chargers, fuel systems and hydraulics. Vijay Pulaskar who is the chairman and managing director said "With this unit 25,000 sq ft of floor space would be added and total manufacturing capacity increased by 50 %. The new premises would house the manufacturing facility for the domestic market and the existing facility would be converted in to an 100% export oriented unit. The shift to the new unit for the domestic purpose would be completed within two months, he conveyed. |
