Imatra Kilsta has been acquired by Bharat Forge Limited and even acquired Imatras wholly owned subsidiary Scottish Stampings,Scotland.The company Imatra Kilsta also manufacturers front axle beams and crankschaft in Europe. Bharat Forge has acquired 100% ownership interest in Imatra Kilsta AB, Scotland through a 100% owned SPV with immediate effect. Bharat Forge can now create all of its core products such as beams,knuckles in min 2 locations worldwide and provide design and engineering and technology front end support,close to customers for these products. Imatra Kilsta AB and Scottish Stampings Ltd have a total forging capacity of 100,000 tons per annum across two plants.It is a major supplier ot leading passenger car and commercial vehicle manufacturers such as SAAB,Perkins and Volvo.Bharat Forge Ltd is the flagship company of the US$ 1.25 billion Kalyani Group,which has significant presence in the key sectors of the Indian Economy.
