Tata Technologies concluded the acquisition of UK-based Incat International
TATA Technologies has completed the acquisition of UK-based Incat International ,is looking for more Acquirements in south-east and eastern Asia. The company is looking at setting up a certification programme In auto-engineering for engineers in India. Patrick Mc Goldrick the companys CEO told that" The Incat acquisition gives us a good presence in the UK and especially US, which is home to the large automakers. Now we have to have a strong presence in Japan." He further said"Incat has an office in Japan which will be growing. We have already met the employees and customers. But we will also look for acquisitions in these markets and have demonstrated through These markets and have demonstrated through the Incat acquisition that we are not afraid to acquire." Mc Goldrick Added" We are hiring every day in India. We will also hire in the US as we want to maintain a strong presence at the customers site. The certification programme in India will largely be internet based and will be run through channel partners. While Tata Technologies has an offshoring model that allows it to send work to India, Incat has a presence with the auto and aerospace companies that will complement Tata Technologies offshoring strength." Mc Goldrick on the acquisition plan said" We are obviously looking for something in the design and engineering field. If they fit our needs ,we will continue to acquire regardless of size or geographies in which they operate. The company has already acquired 97% of the shares of Incat International.
