Nano technology laboratory has been set up for advanced scientific Research ,Banglore at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre which will house the Atomic Force Microscope ,a Scanning Tunnel Microscope and other cutting- edge technology application modules. India has a huge capability in the nano-science bailiwick. At present ,however ,research in this field is still in its emerging stage.Eight nano-Science centres have been established during the last two years in India and four More will be added in next 3-4 months. Having access to the appropriate state-of-the-art instruments is critical to future nano technology developments in the country. |
