The new mouse launched by Apple is called Mighty Mouse,a name derived from a Terrytoons cartoon character. The new mouse looks much like the elegant single-button mouse Apple has produced for years. But the mighty mouse has tiny scroll Ball and four sensors that can be programmed to add functionality, much like the left and right buttons on the Windows mouse. The new mouse works with PCs running Windows 2000 and Windows XP as well as Apples own hard ware. It connects using a Universal Serial Bus Cable. No wireless version is currently available, and the mouse is sold seperately. It is not being bundled with Apples desktop Computers. |
