Hyundai Motor India posted sales of 24,311 units in the month of August 2005, posting a growth of 32% over August 2004. Domestic sales in August were 14,902 units, a growth of 51.2% over the same month in of August 2004,and overseas sales increased by 9.8% with 9,409 units. In the first eight months of the year 2005, Hyundai India has sold a total of 1,66,630 vehicles achieving a growth of 28.7% over the same period in 2004. Hyundai has risen the price of Getz and Accent by upto Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 9,000 respectively. The base model Accent GLE now costs Rs. 5,29,000 and the Getz GLE costs Rs. 5,29,000 and the Getz GLE costs Rs. 4,21,000 respectively.
