Toshibas -HCL tops MFD sales by acquiring 26% of the market share . Toshibas e-studio is a multi-functional device. Toshiba Corp. has a successful partnership with HCL InfiNet -a 100% subsidiary of HCL Infosystems. According to a market research by IDC ,of the total 15,969 A3-size laser MFDs sold sold in the country during 2004-05 , Toshiba registered the largest share of 4160 units outselling Xerox, Canon, Gestetner, and Ricoh, Sharp and other brands. Toshiba -HCL has acquired the above said shares for the reason to become the highest selling A3-size MFD brand in India.
