Google has launched a 3 -D satellite eye view service that enables users to zoom in and view any spot on the earth. The service draws on huge library satellite imagery merged with cartographic ground data. Entering the latitude and longitude sends the application zooming on the spot. The free download from "http://earth.google.com" is possible on Windows XP/2000 powered PCs. The PC should have a 3-D graphics card. While the recommended screen resolution is 1024 X 768 pixels, home users with 800 X 600 setting can also avail of this service.
