The event was held between 20 and 22 october 2005 at Bombay Exhibition Centre.More than 250 domestic and international companies including a Chinese Pavilion showcasing manufacturing process plant and equipment, packaging,machinery,process control, instrumentation, lab and analytical instruments, raw materials and ingredients. The exhibition provided an excellent platform for service providers to showcase their products and services to decision makers from leading Indian Chemical and Pharmaceutical manufacturers. The objective of the exhibition was to bring together the manufacturers and suppliers of process plant and equipment, for the growing Chemical and Pharmaceutical industry,all under one roof. The two-day Pharma Summit addressed topics like Indian Pharma Inc-Analysis and Prognodis,Future Potentials, New Collaborative Growth Models, Indian Pharma Market, Global strategy and perspective,Vision for the Pharma Sector etc. The Indian Chemical Industry has the expertise, knowledge, people and technology to aspire towards growing from USD 28 billion to USD 100 billion by 2010. This years " Pharma summit " went beyond opportunities and focus on specific challenge and how they can be addressed given the external pressures. The flagship event of CII for the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry was one of the premiere venues for getting an informed outlook on the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. |
