Fenner India Ltd which is a major player in the industrial and automotive v-belts and power transmission product segment plans to expand its reach either by acquiring or establishing manufacturing facilities both in India and abroad. Vice President C Suresh Kumar stated that the company exported its products, mainly polymer and engineering products,to around 50 countries with revenues touching nearly 25-30 crore. He further mentioned that many countries were looking for quality sourcing from India that Fenner was advantageously placed to exploit this opportunity since it has secured international quality certificates, including the American Petroleum Institute(API) certification. Fenner has tied up with an Italian company for the supply of modular gear boxes . The companys turnover during 2003-04 was around Rs 285 crore and is expected to grow by about 15-20 percent in the current year. |
