Gail India and Indian Oil Corporation have set up a joint venture , Green Gas Ltd for supplying LPG and CNG in Lucknow and Agra. The JV will supply LPG through a pipeline to domestic and commercial consumers, besides CNG for vehicles. Gail India and IOC will hold 22.5% equity each, while the State Industrial Development Corporation will hold 5%,and 50% will go to the private sector. For the supply of LPG and CNG in Kanpur, Gail India has set up a JV called UP Gas Ltd with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. |
