Honda Siel Cars India launched the VTEC version of its City in addition to treating the city lineup to a minor facelift and christening it City ZX. The ZX is longer than the earlier version and comes with a higher bonnet, lending it a bolder look. It also offers increased trunk space.Masahiro Takedagawa,President and CEO,Honda Siel Cars India,said,"The decision to launch City ZX in India, almost simultaneously with other parts of Asia, is part of our thrust to bring in the latest products and technologies from our global stable for our Indian customers. We are glad to offer the advantages of the revolutionary VTEC engine in combination with the futuristic design of the City ZX." The City ZX range includes 4 variants-Exi,Gxi, CVT and VTEC. Elaborating on the expansion at the Greater Noida Plant ,he said, "Our plant is currently in the process of expansion and the expanded capacity (50,000 units per year) will be ready by early-November. We will accordingly start diliveries of the new range, including the VTEC version."
