BHARAT Petroleum Corp (BPCL) plans to invest about Rs 130 crore in natural gas distribution and marketing across five states over five years, a top company official said. S Radhakrishnan ,marketing director,said in an interview " With oil at record-high levels and current restraints over retail prices ,the next best thing is to expand our presence in natural gas distribution ." It will set up retail gas distribution networks in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Kerela and Karnataka, either alone or with state-run gas transporter GAIL.
