Chenab Textile Mill has been awarded right to use USTERIZED trademark by Uster Technologies AG,Switzerland. Chenab Textile Mill is the 14th Mill in the world to be awarded the right to use USTERISED trademark.Chenab Textile mill has many distinctions in Indian Textile Industry and the certificate by Uster Technologies brings international recognition too and it is because of quality of product matching international standards. CTM has recently expanded its capacity by about 28,000 spindles at capital cost of Rs 11o crore by installing latest and state-of-the-art technology machines to produce 100% cotton and melange yarn and yarn dyeing project of 8.00MT/day. CTM has also installed highly sophisticated quality testing equipments to test the yarn to stringent Uster and Classimate standards. CTM has total installed capacity of one lakh spindles and has wide product range from cotton, synthetic,acrylic and blended yarns in dyed, melange and grey forms. The Certificate was handed over to Mr S K Khandelia, President ,CTM by Mr Richard Furter ,Executive Vice President, Uster Technologies AC, Switzerland recently at Kathua.
