Foster Wheeler Ltd has announced that its Thailand subsidiary has been selected as the project mangement contractor (PMC) for the Aromatics (Thailand) Public Company (ATC) reformer and aromatics complex 2 project to be located at Map Ta Phut,Thailand.The terms of the award were not disclosed, and the project will be included in the companys fourth-quarter bookings for 2005. Mr Khun Permesak Sherawattanon, President of the Aromatics (Thailand) Public Company Limited ,said."The Reformer and Aromatics Complex 2 Project is a sophisticated ,world-scale development and we require a project management contractor with a proven track record of managing th implenentation of such facilities in Thailand, who will work with us to meet our long-term business objectives."Foster Wheelers role as a PMC contractor includes the co-ordination of the engineering, procurement,construction and commissioning phases of the project, scheduled for completion in 2008. |
