Vishmat Technologies Pvt Ltd has signed up a joint venture with Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation(TIDCO) recently,to set up a 100%Exported Oriented Unit at Srivilliputtur,South Tamil Nadu.The unit planned at the cost of Rs 16 crore,will produce high-tenacity advanced technical textiles from glass fibre having speciality coatings.Vishmat Technologies manufactures speciality coated glass fibre technical textile mesh fabrics for road reinforcements,gypsum wall reinforcements,plaster reinforcements and others.Besides,the company plans to bring out quake resistance composite fabrics obtained from glass,carbon and aramid materials combination,shortly.Vishmat also has plans for a complete backward integration in 2006 costing Rs 18 crore.Its products are exported to the UK,South Africa,Israel,Middle East and the US.Vishmat has a liasion office at Doreset,UK,and a company representative stationed at Shenzen,China to cater to those markets. |
