Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Y S Rajashekhara Reddy, laid the foundation for the countrys first Mega Fab,a massive semi-conductor unit promoted by Nano-Tech Silicon India Pvt Ltd, at the Rajiv Gandhi Nano-technology Park on the outskirts of Hyderabad recently.The first Mega Fab,being taken up at a cost of US $600mn,is expected to come up in 15 months.Six Fats-two each in three phases-would be established.The first phase would cost US $1.2bn while the second would be taken up at an outlay of US$ 5bn,according to the Chairman and Chief Managing Director.Dr P June Min,a South Korean techno-entrepreneur and lead promoter. |
