Cement output recorded 14.25% increase in January 06 to 13.07m tonne against 11.44m tonne a-year ago, said the latest updates of Cement Manufactures Association.Despatches clocked 14.34% rise to 13.08 mt from 11.44 mt in the monthly review period.Last months production was 4.8% higher than 12.47 mt in December 05,while the dispatches figure was 4.06% more than 12.57 mt dispatches of the previous month.Production stood at 10.25% higher at 115.4 mt form April-January period of 05-06 as against 104.67mt in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.Despatches grew by 10.43% to 115.08mt from 104.21 mt during the 10th-month period. |
