Triveni Engineering and Industries is in advanced talks for an alliance with three large turbine engine manufacturers in Europe. The final deal is likely to within next two-three months. Once the deal is through, Triveni will acquire technologies from these European companies. The objective of these acquisitions is to upgrade and expand the companys range of 30 mv. According to Dhruv M Sawhney, chairman and MD, Triveni Engineering and Industries ,the deal wont be restricted to just technological buys. "The nature of the alliance could be strategic as well as financial .We are still keeping the options open and will go for the best possible deal." He also said the acquisition of technology will span globally and wont be restricted to any region. The deal will include branding and intellectual property rights of the acquired technology. The company also plans to foray aggressively into the export market. |
