Real estate major Ansal Properties Group, has forayed into healthcare facilities management, with Malaysias Faber Group Berhad. Faber Star Facilities Management, a 51%-49% JV between Faber Group and Ansals Group, will commence operations in May this year and aims at Rs 100 crore turnover in 3 to 5 years,Noorizah Hj Abd Hamid, managing director, Faber Group said.
Rajat Biswas, director, Faber Star Facilities Management, said that Indian healthcare industry is currently servicing around 1 lakh medical tourists per annum, which is projected to grow by 15%. As healthcare groups scale up facilities, demand for world-class hospital management service, will grow accordingly. "The demand will come from discerning Indian and international medical tourists," said Mr Biswas. |
