Bhilai Steel Plant, SAILs largest public sector steel unit, has achieved a record hot metal production of 5m tonnes for the year ending March 31.
On March 20,06, BSP made history by surpassing the 5m-tonne mark in cumulative production of hot metal in 05-06, making it the only steel plant in the country to have crossed 5m tonnes hot metal production in a year," the plant said. |
