US power major AES Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chhattisgarh Government. According to this Memorandum, US power major AES Corporation would invest $ 1.2 billion to development 1,000-MW coal fired power plant in Chhattisgarh. AES would also have the right to develop this project, which will be integrated with a captive coal mine. AE India has begun a feasibility study to identify the specific Location and other requirements for the project. |
