Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (CTCRI), has launched a cassava (tapioca) project where CTCRI will provide the necessary technical support and training to the women entrepreneurs. The project will be financed by Bank of India. As a pilot project, the bank has planned to set up 15 manufacturing units in Thiruvananthapuram district.
