Ansal Properties and Infrastructure (APIL) reported a 166 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 11.72 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006, as compared to Rs 4.4 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The companys total turnover for the quarter rose 37 per cent to Rs 131.18 crore as against Rs 95.77 crore in the corresponding period last year. For the year ended March 31, the company reported a 198 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 40.56 crore as against Rs 13.62 crore in the year-ago period.
The companys turnover for the year ended March 31, increased by 67 per cent to Rs 355.14 crore as compared to Rs 212.88 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year. The company has recommended a final dividend for the year 2005-06 at 20 per cent on equity shares.
