Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (Visakhapatnam Steel Plant) is preparing the blueprint for setting up a special economic zone on 250 acres exclusively for the user industries
The steel plants capacity was being doubled from 3.2 million tonnes at a cost of Rs 8,600 crore and ultimately the capacity would be enhanced to 16 million tonnes by 2019-20 at an additional investment of Rs 25,000 crore.
