The US-based manufacturer of breathing problem related equipment ResMed plans to set up its subsidiary in India, with its office already established in the country.
ResMed will sell its equipment through its distribution partner Respicure. The equipment price is Rs 50,000 for each patient, apart from initial diagnosis and consultation cost.
The companys products have been available in the country since 1996 and clocked a turnover of $1 million last year.
ResMed has operations in over 65 countries with direct offices and distribution partners. In Asia Pacific, it has offices in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and China.
