A Kisan Mela will be organized in Coimbatore between October 4 and 6 by the Sugarcane Breeding Institute. Its an exhibition on sugarcane and its by products. The expected participants are agri-enterprises, banking, sugar factories, distillers, pesticides companies and irrigation equipment makers.
This farmers meet will showcase new technologies on sugarcane, new varieties, planting methods, integrated nutrient management, bio-fertilizers, by products and various cultivation process.
Seminars highlighting sugarcane varieties, innovative irrigation methods, current trends in pest management will be held on all three days of the Kisan Mela.
