Landmark is set to open its first store here at an investment of Rs 4.5 crore. This is the ninth store of the Rs 100-crore book and music retailer. Ms Hemu Ramaiah, Chief Executive Officer, Landmark, said with this launch, the store would be present in Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Vadodara, Gurgaon and Pune. The rollout is to move on to Lucknow, which would be in February. Ms Ramaiah also added that the focus is on spreading itself to the West and North. With its presence in all the four metros, the company is now looking at mini metros also as its destinations. It would launch five to six stores later.
