Amul, the market leader in ice creams in the country, has launched the Sundae Swirl Range of Ice-creams. Sundae Swirl is a ripple- based ice cream in which vanilla ice cream is topped with colorful tasty sauces. Sundae swirl ice cream is packed in an attractive transparent plastic cup having dome shape lid that protects the innovative ice cream shape. Amuls Sunade swirl Range is available in Khatta Mitha Mango and Chocolate flavour in 150 ml cup priced at Rs. 18/- all over the country. It stays fresh for 12 months from the date of packaging when stored at minus 18 Degrees Celsius. Amul entered the ice cream segment in 1996 and within no time has emerged as market leader. With innovative flavours and "value for money" pricing Amul has won heart of the consumers. Today it has more than 40 exiting flavours. Packs range from 100ml to 5 litres. The party packs have proved to be extremely popular. Amul sundae swirl, like other ice creams is marketed by The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd., (GCMMF), Asias largest integrated dairy products manufacturing and marketing organization and Indias largest food company. The annual turnover is more than 3800 crores.
