The Bangalore-based modular workstation manufacturer V3 Engineers has announced a foray into the home furniture segment. Branded V3 Home Zone, the company plans to establish 30 outlets in 18 months across the country. From the current turnover of Rs 49 crore, V3 is looking at revenues of Rs 200 crore in the next three years. Mr Guru Prasad, Director, V3 Engineers, said that Home Zone will offer doors, wardrobes and kitchen furniture. Doors will be branded ‘Dorz’ ; and kitchens and wardrobes will be marketed under the brand name ‘Elan.’ The manufacturing unit in Bangalore currently has an annual installed capacity to manufacture 3.6 million doors and 4,500 kitchens and wardrobes.
