Raymond Entered the Ready-Made Garments segment
The giant textile company, Raymond has recently launched its new ready-made garments named the Raymond Finely Crafted Garments (Raymond FCG) in India on Thursday. The sources informed that this is the first time that the company has brought the 80-year-old brand into the ready-made garments sector. While announcing the launching, the Chairman and Managing Director of Raymond FCG, Mr. Gautam Singhania said, "For the first time, we are bringing our 80-year-old brand Raymond into the ready-made garment segment. Raymond has been providing its customers with the best in fashion and style. Raymond is the first choice of million and is the leading mens wear brand in the country. With the launch of Raymond FCG, we are extending the same brand experience to our customers".
Mr. Singhania was also talking about their expectations about the new garments range and said that the company is expecting to earn a revenue of Rs 100 crore from it within the next 2-3 years. Raymond is currently holding over 60% market share in the worsted suiting market in India, with a capacity of 33 million meters of wool and wool-blended fabrics. The President of the Raymond Group, Mr. Pradeep Bhandari also commented that they are hoping to increase their revenue up to 20% and also raise the exports to 10% in the current fiscal. The company is the owner of the famous garments brands like Park Avenue, Parx, Manzoni and the ColorPlus.
