The giant Indian hospitality company named Lite Bites and the industrialist brothers Jiggs Kalra and Zorawar Kalra, have recently formed a strategic Joint Venture (JV) between them. The sources related to the JV formation have informed that the two parties would establish a world-class food court and also a chain restaurant company in India. The sources also said that the Lite Bites is being promoted by Amit Burman and the new JV is also being considered to be the first-ever quick service restaurant (QSR)-based JV.
While talking about the new JV formation, one of the sources close to it said that the new JV will be focusing on delivering customer satisfaction through some high-quality gourmet food at some suitable locations and also at attractive prices. The promoter of the Lite Bites, Mr. Amit Burman was also expressing his views over the new JV formation and said, "Lite Bite aims to develop into Indias leading Food Court & Chain Restaurant Company, comprising both leading international as well as in-house concepts and brands by delivering world-class food & beverage experiences. Quick Service Restaurant is a promising restaurant concept and its combination with our goals is bound to create waves of appreciation and wider appeal".
Mr. Burman further said that the JV company is likely to give much emphasis on a wide spectrum of consumers through a chain of Quick Service Restaurants. Apart from that, some casual dining restaurants, fine dining restaurants and exclusive high-end catering services will also be present there. The other party, Mr. Jiggs Kalra was also contacted and asked about the development and in reply, he said, "This marks the coming together of two like-minded organisations, with common goals. This new concept of QSRs is fast growing in India and is an original concept from Street Foods of India".
Mr. Kalra was also talking about the basic objectives of the new JV company and said, "Providing patrons with a wide selection of high quality food are the main aim of this merger. Customer service, hygiene and consistency in taste are key elements, and such a venture will improve the total customer experience". He concluded that he will be providing the cuisine and format development expertise to the new JV and his brother, Zorawar Kalra will be operating the ongoing activities of this JV.
