The major industrial organisation, Alps Industries Ltd has recently announced that it has opened a wholly owned subsidiary company named the Alps Energy Private Ltd. The officials of the company have informed that the new company will be making investments in a number of energy projects in India.
According to a top official from the company, the new subsidiary named Alps Energy Private Ltd. will be the companys vehicle for the investments in the energy sector. The official also said that the Alps Industries Ltd is now discussing with a number of parties for acquiring the allotted hydel power projects in the states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. The official further said that the company is also making some direct bids for the projects that are yet to be allotted by the state governments.
