The major IT company in the IT sector, HCL Infosystems has recently launched a fully functional, portable range of laptops named the MiLeap on Tuesday. The officials of the company have stated that the price range of the new laptops starts from Rs 13,990 only and the laptops are also coming with a number of important features. The officials also said that the HCL MiLeap X Series ultra portable range of Leaptops was also launched by the company on the same day. These laptops come at a price of only Rs 14,000.
The Chairman & CEO of the HCL Infosystems, Mr. Ajai Chowdhry was talking about the newly launched laptops of the company and said, "This revolutionary new range of ultra portable MiLeap Leaptops will herald a new category of computing devices, opening up a wide range of new usage scenarios and application areas". He was also talking about the companys tradition of bringing new products that lead a technological revolution in India and said, "HCL is proud of its strong heritage of leading the technology revolution in India. With a legacy of having pioneered Indias first micro-computer, the countrys first desktop PC and the first home PC, at HCL its always been our endeavour to create technologies that touches lives".
While talking about the basic features of the new range of laptops from the company, a top official of HCL Infosystems has stated that both the MiLeap and the HCL MiLeap X Series range of laptops are coming with a Linux operating system. The laptops from both the range are also having some common features like the network ports and they are also Wi-Fi ready. Apart from that the laptops bear the option for data card and are available with GUI-enabled user friendly Linux OS as well.
