The giant reality construction company, L&T South City Projects Ltd (L&T SCPL) has recently announced the launching of its integrated township project named the Eden Park at Siruseri near Chennai. The company has launched the new township on Thursday and the officials informed that the township is spread over an area of 100 acres. The officials also stated that the township is going to be developed in four to five phases and it will also require an estimated investment of Rs 1,200 crore.
While talking about the new township project of the company, the Executive Vice President, Development Projects Business of L&T, Mr. K Venkatesh has stated that the company would build 656 apartments in over 14 acres in the first phase of the project. This phase will take a duration of around two and half years to complete. He also informed that the first phase would comprise eight 14-storied blocks with two and three bedroom Villapartments in it as well.
When requested to say something more about the new Eden Park township project of the company, Mr. Venkatesh said that the township would have some residential apartments, villas, schools, essential services, healthcare facilities and also shopping mall. He added that the company was discussing with a few reputed educational institutions in the city of Chennai to set up schools inside the township and the discussion was already in the advance stages. The sources from the industry are informing that the L&T SCPL is actually a joint venture company between the L&T Infrastructure Ltd, Dinesh Ranka & Associates and Pragnya Trustee & Investment Management Company.
