The 24-hour free-to-air global maritime television channel named Marine BizTV has recently announced that it is going to organise the first International Conference on Ship Building and Conversion Technology in Kochi on April 29-30. The company has recently completed its first year of successful operations and the officials of the company have also informed that they will also be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Aries Marine in Kochi at the same time of the conference.
The CEO of Marine BizTV and Managing Director of Aries Marine, Mr. Sohan Roy has made the announcement regarding the conference on Wednesday and said that the company would also be presenting the prestigious maritime video awards at the same venue. He also said that there will be a number of 20 international paper presentations in the two-day conference-cum-awards ceremony and the distinguished personalities in logistics and shipbuilding fields will be presenting the papers.
While talking about the conference in more details, Mr. Roy said that they are expecting a huge number of over 200 delegates from the worldwide maritime community to participate in the conference in Kochi. He also said that the conference is aimed at highlighting the topics like demand and future of shipbuilding around the world, infrastructure development of shipbuilding industry and the new trends in shipbuilding. Mr. Roy concluded by saying that the topics like repair and conversions, ship financing and rules and guidelines for new shipbuilding will also be included among the discussions of the Kochi conference.
