The two major software service providers of India, named Oracle and HP have recently joined their hands together in order to deliver complete software, hardware and service solutions aimed exclusively for the midsize companies. The officials of the company have informed that these new offerings consist of some unique combinations of the Oracle Accelerate solutions on Oracle E-business Suite. The offerings also include the JD Edwards suite of products and the HP reference configurations.
While talking about the new offering in more details, a source related to the companies has stated that these new service solutions have been designed specifically to offer the midsize companies "proven, easy-to-own solutions". He also said that the solutions will also enable the companies to achieve "faster time-to-value". The HP has recently released a statement regarding the new development and said that the HP reference configurations for Oracle are the guidelines for HP servers, storage and software that are based on joint HP and Oracle engineering expertise and best practices.
The statement further stated that the new solutions will also be able to save customers valuable configuration time and will provide guidance when deploying Oracle on HP hardware as well. According to an official of the company, HP and Oracle have already launched an 18-city tour in order to promote the new offering. He concluded by saying that the system integrators like Blue Star Infotech, Conacent Consulting Pvt. Ltd, Micropro Software Solutions, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Sonata Information Technology are working with Oracle and HP in order to implement these solutions.
