The second largest standalone health insurance company in India, the Apollo DKV has recently got the approval from the Insurance Regulatory Authority of India (IRDA) in order to launch two new health insurance products of the company. The officials of the company have informed the news on Saturday and said that they would be launching the products very soon.
The sources from the healthcare industry are informing that the Apollo DKV is a Joint Venture (JV) company between the Apollo Group of Hospitals and the European insurer DKV. When requested to say something about the new health products in more details, one of the top officials of the company has stated that the product has been branded as the Easy Health. He said that the company would cater to the in-patient hospitalization with this new product named Easy Health. He further said that the product would be coming with two versions. The first version would be meant for the individuals and their families and the second one would be targeted for the corporate customers (group insurance).
