The Rolta India has recently announced that it has acquired the IT-consulting company, Broech Corporation for an investment of about $45 million, including escrows and earn-outs. The officials of the company have informed that the Broech Corporation is doing business as "TUSC" and it is a specialist in the fields like enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications, database and also in business intelligence solutions that are based on Oracle technologies.
When contacted and requested to say something about the latest acquisition of the company, the Chairman and CEO of Rolta, Mr. K K Singh said, "We are extremely pleased with the acquisition of TUSC who shares our passion for excellence. This brings into the Rolta fold, a company that has strategic maturity, exceptional technology, commendable work ethic, established branding and a strong portfolio of high-end consulting services". While talking about the companys benefits from the acquisition, Mr. Singh said, "We will now be able to provide enterprise-level solutions to our customers worldwide, thereby increasing the value for our stakeholders".
According to another top official from the company, Rolta is now expecting that the transaction would immediately increase the shareholder value of the company in the current financial year that is ending in the month of June 2008. The official also informed that the headquarter of TUSC is in Chicago and the company has some excellence centers and offices across the US. The revenues of TUSC in 2007 were in excess of $48 million and the compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of the company was more than 30% over the past 4 years.
