Tiruchirapalli Unit Of BHEL Bagged Rs 15,000 Crore Contracts
The leading public sector power service providing company of India, Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL)s Tiruchirapalli unit has recently received some orders worth over Rs 15,000 crore from different authorities. The company officials have stated that the orders have been placed for supplying the power plant equipment to them.

The Executive Director of BHEL, Mr. R N Mishra has also informed that the Tiruchirapalli unit of BHEL has recently crossed an all-time record by finalizing some orders for equipment worth more than Rs 15,000 crore. While talking about the success of the companys unit, Mr. Mishra said, "Customers have placed consistent trust with the PSU, and orders were received through the negotiated process".

The sources from the company are informing that BHEL has recently signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board for the supply super critical boilers for the 2X800 Mw thermal power station situated near the city of Chennai. The sources also informed that the boilers would be manufactured with the technology that it got from the US-based company named Alstom.
